Suspected Portland Flasher Strikes Again

A Portland neighborhood remains uneasy after a serial flasher struck for the sixth time on Tuesday afternoon.

In the last month, the suspect has exposed himself to at least seven people, including children.

The suspect was described as a Caucasian man between the ages of 20 and 40, with dark brown hair and a scruffy face. He often wears a white T-shirt, blue or green boxer shorts and dirty running shoes.

In the most recent incident, the man approached a 9-year-old outside of the boy’s home and exposed himself. The boy reported that the man dropped his pants, then ran away.

Don Schelb, who lives down the street from where the most recent incident occurred, said he’s concerned for his 13-year-old daughter.

“What if he, I mean flashing’s bad enough,” Shelb said. “But if he was to try to grab somebody and take them off somewhere.”

A Portland Public Schools spokesperson reported that letters had been sent home to parents about the flasher as a warning.

Police have asked anyone with surveillance footage living in the area to check the video for suspicious images relating to the flasher.
