An 18-year-old was shot and killed by police officers at a gas station in Berkeley, Missouri, on Tuesday night.
According to a statement released by the department, the cop who pulled the trigger saw the teen, Antonio Martin, allegedly pull out a firearm before he shot him.
“Fearing for his life, the Berkeley Officer fired several shots, striking the subject, fatally wounding him,” the statement said.
The officers were said to have been doing a 'routine' business check at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday when the incident occurred.
On Wednesday morning, police released surveillance video of the incident. Officials say that if you pay attention around the 1:35-mark, you can see Martin allegedly pull out a weapon of some sort.
