Supreme Court Reopens Janet Jackson “Wardrobe Malfunction” Case


During the half-time show of the 2004 Super Bowl singer Justin Timberlake inadvertently pulled off a piece of Janet Jackson's outfit, momentarily revealing her breast. In the uproar that followed courts ruled in favor of broadcaster CBS, saying they weren't liable for an event they couldn't have reasonably anticipated. However, today the Supreme Court ordered a federal appeals court to re-examine the case, urging them to reconsider whether CBS was at fault.
