Student Mob Caught on Video Attacking Victim with Chairs

A brutal beating inside the library of Chester High School in Chester, Pa., was recently recorded on a student's cell phone (video below).

Five students have been arrested by police, and more arrests may follow.

The incident happened on Tuesday. Police were not called by the school, but by a student who saw the video on Facebook.

Five teens were charged as adults with simple assault, aggravated assault, conspiracy, robbery, recklessly endangering, terroristic threats and possession of instrument of a crime, reports CBS Philadelphia.

It's not clear what "terroristic threats" were allegedly made by the teens.

Edward Stanley, 18, who police say recorded the fight on his cell phone, was one of the students charged.

Stanley reportedly posted the video on Facebook, which led to his arrest.

The unidentified father of the 16-year-old victim claimed to be unaware of the video until CBS Philadelphia showed it to him. The teen has four stitches in the back of his head, according to his dad.

“The kids are really taking over the school there. I think security really needs to be stepped up in there,” added the father, who wished to remain anonymous.

“You think it’s all fun and games, but it isn’t no game out here. And you think you’re getting away with it, but you’re not.”

“Obviously, in an ideal setting, we would have a situation where this would not happen, where this could not have happened, and we’re going to investigate and find out what happened,” said Chester Upland School District Receiver Joe Watkins.
