Actor-producer Steven Seagal has been accused of raping a woman after they filmed "On Deadly Ground" in 1993.

Accuser Regina Simons, now 43, told TheWrap she was 18 years old and working as an extra at the time of the incident. She says Seagal had invited her to a wrap party in his Beverly Hills home, but when she arrived, she discovered she was the only one there.

"He took me into this room and then just closed the door and started kissing me," she alleges. "He then took my clothes off and before I knew it he was on top of me, raping me ... I wasn't sexually active yet. People always talk about fight-or-flight. But no one talks about the freeze."

Seagal has been accused of sexual misconduct by over a dozen women, but Simons is the first to say he raped her.

Both Simons and former model Faviola Dadis, who says that Seagal groped her in 2002, filed cases with the LAPD since the end of 2017. An LAPD spokesperson said the department is also investigating another case involving Seagal from 2005.

According to The Guardian, accusations against Seagal began in November 2017. Actresses Portia de Rossi, Julianna Margulies and Rae Dawn Chong are among the accusers.

Many of the allegations involve Seagal acting inappropriately in private "auditions" that the actresses believed would have at least one other person present.

Simons told TheWrap she had been with her brother at the time of the audition. She said she had complained of a headache at one point and that Seagal offered her a massage. Her brother confirmed that he rubbed her hand and neck before returning to the set.

Seagal invited Simons to his home a few weeks after she had shot her scene.

"The only way I’m able to describe it is I literally felt like I left my body," she said. "I think because of the situation I was completely caught off guard. Tears were coming down my face and I know that it hurt. He was three times my size."

After the incident, Simons says she made a "beeline" for the door. Seagal allegedly asked her if she needed any money before she left, which she declined. She says she cried all the way home.

Simons said that she had initially hesitated to come forward earlier due to the stigma she would face in her Mormon community. She confessed to a Mormon bishop, who corroborated her allegations.

Seagal reportedly made several attempts to call Simons following the incident.

"His behavior, calling so often, it felt predatory to me," Simons' former roommate Patricia Alaniz told TheWrap. "He was a middle-aged man, married at the time, and she was young and naive. I thought he was grooming her."

In addition to the bishop, her brother and Alaniz, Simons' mother, ex-boyfriend and ex-husband also confirmed her story to TheWrap.
