Spread the Word, Exposing the Animal Rights Movement

Millions have already downloaded and read our primers on animal
rights groups. Called “7 Things You Didn’t Know,” these easy-to-read
sheets expose the wholesale deception and backward philosophies of
groups like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

And it’s now more important than ever that this information reaches as many people as possible. With HSUS ready to target several states, it’s clear the save-the-chickens wingnuts are powerful and on the go. Animal rights activists are targeting children and spuriously representing themselves as “ethical,” “responsible,” and “humane,” and someone needs to spread the word about just what these groups really stand for.

Today’s animal rights movement has
never wavered from its ultimate aim: the complete abolition of a long
list of consumer choices that most Americans enjoy. These include meat,
dairy foods, hunting, fishing, zoos, aquariums, circuses, rodeos, fur,
leather, wool, and silk.

Activists even want to do away with vital medical research that uses animals. PETA co-founder and president Ingrid Newkirk once proclaimed: “Even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we’d be against it.” And PCRM recently filed a complaint against a hospital whose doctors were using pigs to hone their surgical skills—the most realistic option available for medical training.

Inch by inch, groups like PETA, PCRM, and HSUS continue to
advance toward a society that views human beings as no different from
(and no more important than) barnyard livestock and lab rats. Giving legal “rights” to Babe and Rover is an integral part of an animal rights future.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant. Share these “7 Things You
Didn’t Know” resources with a friend, a family member, your government
officials, or even your community’s newspaper or TV news team. Then
just sit back and watch the light of truth do its thing.
