A 13-year-old Alabama boy discovered his mother murdered in their Birmingham home Dec. 14.

The victim is identified as Constance "Connie" Lee Overstreet Woolweaver, reports

Only hours before she was found dead, Woolweaver posted this message on Facebook: “I’ve got 99 problems and 86 of them are completely made up scenarios in my head that I’m stressing about for absolutely no logical reason.”

The post was accompanied by an illustration of a woman awake in bed, with the caption, “And this is why I can’t sleep. Brain – shut up!”

Major Ken Burchfield said he did not believe the murder occurred during a home invasion, reports the Daily Mail. Shelby County Sheriff's Captain Jeff Hartley said the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Sheriff John Samaniego offered words of assurance to the local neighborhood. In a statement, he said, “I do not believe there is a related threat to any of the residents in Highland Lake or other local communities related to Ms Woolweaver's death.”

Woolweaver was a 20-year veteran of the banking industry. According to her LinkedIn profile, she started her career at Wachovia and ended up as assistant vice president at Renasant Bank before becoming controller and director of operations at Orange Development Inc. in 2011.

Michelle Lagle, one of her friends, said: "Her entire community of friends is devastated and heartbroken. She was radiant, beautiful, independent, determined and full of life."

Woolweaver was an "amazing and loving" mother, she added. "I want people to remember Connie as a smiling, loving, kind woman, daughter, and mother who was dedicated to her family, friends and children.”

Woolweaver's friends have created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her children.
