Shoplifter Flees Topless after Shirt, Bra Come Off in Scuffle with Macy's Security Guard

An unidentified Asian woman reportedly tried to shoplift items from a Macy's store in a Westfield Mall located in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Sunday night.

The woman allegedly tried to shove the merchandise in her purse, notes CBS Los Angeles.

When a Macy’s loss prevention officer tried to stop her, there was a physical struggle.

“During the altercation, the suspect’s shirt and bra came off,” said the police report. “[The woman] ran to her car topless and left behind her purse containing her driver’s license."

A bystander wrote down the female suspect's license plate number as she drove away in a white Mercedes

Back in April, eight female suspects shoplifted more than $20,000 worth of items from a Sunglass Hut in the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall, reported

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Office said that witnesses called it a “flash mob”-style robbery, which is when a group of people suddenly steal products at the same time.

The women, ages 18-25 years old, allegedly came into the store, opened display cases and starting stealing sunglasses for a little over a minute.
