Senior Forced To Strip At Gunpoint By Nevada Troopers (Video)

Robin and Beverly Bruins were pulled over by the Nevada Highway Patrol for supposedly driving a stolen car. The seniors say they own the car.

The entire incident was caught on a patrol car's dash-cam (video below).

In the video, Robin was given a series of confusing instructions by the troopers, which included stripping off his shirt. Beverly, who was using crutches because she had a broken leg, was told by troopers to put her hands in the air, noted 8 News Now.

The highway patrol has since admitted to checking the wrong information for the collector car's historical license plate. Additionally, a dispatcher ran the wrong vehicle identification number.

At one point during the incident, a trooper was caught on audio admitting he tended to believe Robin and thought he was the owner.

Robin spent the night at the Clark County Detention Center, and claims he was not allowed to access his nerve medicine.

The Bruins have now filed a lawsuit against the Nevada Highway Patrol, noted The Free Thought Project.

If the Bruins' lawsuit is successful, the taxpayers of Nevada could pay for the false arrest and detention of Robin.
