A San Diego Woman Described As '400-Pounds With A Beard' Charged With Stabbing A Man

A woman described as weighing around 400 pounds with a beard has been detained by San Diego police for reportedly stabbing a man who asked her for a cigarette.

On Dec. 24, authorities arrested the woman they say stabbed the man in the neck the day before, reports Daily Mail.

Law enforcement had previously put out a plea for help in finding the attacker whom witnesses describe as a heavyset woman with facial hair, wearing a white shirt and jeans.

Police Officer Robert Heims told the San Diego Union-Tribune that at around 7:40 p.m., a 39-year-old man had approached a group of people and asked them for a cigarette in the San Diego’s East Village.

They say the suspect told the man to get away from her things and then stabbed him before running away.

The man was hospitalized and his wounds are not thought to be fatal.
