Rudy Giuliani: Obama Deserves Blame For NYPD Officer Deaths (Video)

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani believes that President Barack Obama should shoulder at least some of the blame for this weekend's cop killings.

While appearing on Fox News Sunday, Giuliani argued that the general public has had four months of prominent figures, including the president of the United States, telling them that cops pose a serious threat to public safety.

"We've had four months of propaganda, starting with the president, that everybody should hate the police," he said. "I don't care how you want to describe it; that's what those protests are all about."

Giuliani then argued that people protesting against police brutality following the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner is one thing, but elected officials like President Obama supporting those demonstrations is another.

"The protest are being embraced, the protests are being encouraged,” he noted. “The protests, even the ones that don't lead to violence, and a lot of them lead to violence, all of them lead to a conclusion: The police are bad, the police are racist. That is completely wrong. Actually, the people who do the most for the black community in America are the police."
