Rolls-Royce has announced a stunning Phantom Drophead Coupe that you will never get your hands on. Nothing personal -- the company only built one.
The car was created especially for the Masterpiece London 2011, an annual art and antiques fair, to capture the "essence of a perfect weekend get-away."
“We are delighted to present this outstanding Rolls-Royce at Masterpiece London 2011,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Rolls-Royce CEO. “Craftsmanship and attention to detail shine through in features developed at Goodwood and in partnership with Asprey. It’s a model that demonstrates the breadth of our bespoke offering, where the only limit to what we can deliver is a client’s imagination.”
The Drophead Coupe is painted a Mazarine Blue -- the first Rolls-Royce to feature this color. Rolls-Royce said the color was inspired by the Mazarine Blue butterfly, which is occasionally seen in the South of England.
4WheelsNews.com writes about the other features:
The one-off vehicle comes with a one-off Asprey jewelry box, housed discretely in the glove compartment. The box was designed for rings, cufflinks and earrings. The interior comes in natural-grain leather in Seashell with Navy Blue contrast for floor and door panels. Besides the Asprey jewellery box, the Rolls-Royce also comes with a bespoke luggage set which can be found in the picnic boot of the car.
