Roger Clinton Arrested For DUI In California

Roger Clinton, brother-in-law of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, was arrested June 5 for allegedly driving under the influence in Southern California.

Roger, 59, was arrested around 8 p.m. in Redondo Beach near Los Angeles. Police said he refused to have his blood-alcohol content tested, according to TMZ.

He is currently being held in police custody on $15,000 bond, and is due to appear in court June 6, according to the New York Daily News.

The incident comes only two days before California's primary election, in which 548 delegates are up for grabs. Polls show that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are neck and neck in the crucial state.

Roger was arrested previously for DUI in 2001. That same year, his older half-brother, then President Bill Clinton, pardoned him for a drug conviction involving cocaine possession.

During Bill's tenure in the Oval Office, Roger was dubbed "Headache" by the Secret Service, according to the New York Daily News.

He now lives in Torrance, a suburb of Los Angeles.
