Rapper Rick Ross Sued for Attack of 3 Pit Bulls

Maria Allen is still very emotional about the April death of her beloved 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Banks, resulting from a  violent attack by three pit bulls who broke through a hole in the fence that separates her Fayetville, GA, property from her neighbor, Rapper Rick Ross.

A witness claims that the tiny three-year-old Yorkie had “three large bite wounds on his back” as well as a “very large bite wound” around his neck. Police who arrived on the scene finally freed little Banks from the jaws of the pit bull, but it was too late.  His owner was forced to euthanize him because the wounds were so extreme, according to Dropthattrack.com

This  was not the first time Rick Ross’ pit bulls had escaped, according to  Fayette County animal control and sheriff’s deputies, who confirmed they have received other calls about the dogs being loose. Ms. Allen states they were constantly getting out and escaped again several weeks ago at about 11:30 p.m. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/28423605/detail.html

At the time of the attack on Banks, the pit bulls also went after her son-in-law, Salim Morency, who was on the porch.  Morency said that one pit bull had “…already got a piece of my sweatpants.”  He was able to climb up one of the porch columns of the stately Allen home to escape.

Ms. Allen believes that she should not have to be a prisoner in her own home because of fear of Rick Ross' dogs and explains that she is filing a lawsuit against Ross for $15,000, not because of the money, but because the rapper needs to be held accountable.

She laments tearfully that no amount of money can bring back Banks nor replace him, and says she can’t imagine the pain he must have gone through.  She hopes the lawsuit will bring some “justice” and that neighbors can feel safe again, she told reporters.  You can see and hear Ms. Allen interviewed at her Atlanta home here: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/28423605/detail.html

According to Ms. Allen, so far the Rapper has not even apologized.  Reporters said that the dogs were locked in a shed when they went to Ross’ gated estate to try to interview him.
