The driver of a car that rolled over onto its side in an Ohio field said that a spider was the cause of the accident.
The motorist was reportedly distracted by the spider while traveling near Dayton, Ohio, around 7:45 a.m. on May 13, according to Fox News. The insect caused the driver to lose control and his gray Honda veered off the road and flipped onto its side in the middle of a field.
The driver of the car was not injured in the accident, according to police.
This was not the first time a spider has caused major problems for a motorist. In September 2015, a Michigan driver accidentally set a gas pump on fire when he tried to kill a spider with a cigarette lighter, according to another Fox News article.
The man, who was deathly afraid of spiders, told police that he tried to kill the arachnid after spotting it on his gas tank.
