Police in Chester County, Pennsylvania, are seeking 33-year-old Jacob Malone, a pastor who is accused of raping an 18-year-old girl he invited to live with him and his family.
West Whiteland Township police detective Scott Pezick told KYW-TV that Malone met his victim when he was serving as a pastor in Arizona. The alleged victim was 12 at the time, but he kept in contact with her.
In June 2014, when the girl was 17, Malone asked her to move in to his home in Minnesota and she moved with Malone and his family again when they relocated to Exton, Pennsylvania in the summer of 2015.
“And during this time he began molesting this child,” Pezick said. The girl also alleged Malone tried inappropriate contact with her while they lived in Minnesota.
When she turned 18, Malone allegedly gave her alcohol and molested her when she was drunk on one occasion, WPVI reported.
Malone is currently on the run, but he’s worked around the country as a pastor and visited overseas as a missionary. “We don’t know where he is, so the net is pretty wide at this point” Pezick said.
When the charges of rape and institutional sexual assault were brought against Malone, he was a pastor at Calvary Fellowship Church in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
