Plane Crash Near Bagram Airbase In Afghanistan (Graphic Video)

A graphic video (below) reported to be a civilian cargo plane that crashed near Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan on Monday was uploaded on YouTube and other social sharing sites.

According to, the plane was from U.S.-based National Airlines and was carrying seven people aboard.

In the video, the plane appears to be trying to climb, but quickly goes into free fall and crashes on the ground.

The identities of the seven people who were killed have not been released.

The video was time-stamped "February 1, 2013," but reports that several sources say it was indeed Monday's crash.

Taliban fighters have claimed responsibility for the plane crash, but NATO told theAssociated Press that the claim was false.

National Air Cargo Vice President Shirley Kaufman said that those killed included four pilots, two mechanics and a load master.
