A Georgetown, Texas, teen was arrested after a customer caught him rubbing his genitals on a pizza.
18-year-old Austin Michael Symonds was working at Papa Murphy’s Pizza in Georgetown when a customer came in and ordered right before they were supposed to close. Symonds decided it would be a good idea to rub his scrotum on the pizza, but unfortunately for him, the customer watched it happen.
Symonds’ arrest warrant says that when the customer said something, the disgruntled worker immediately apologized for what he had done.
“Man, I am really sorry, that was stupid,” Symonds said.
The customer then asked Symonds how old he was and after hearing that he was 18, said, “So you are old enough to know better,” to which Symonds responded, “Yes.”
The next day, Symonds spoke to his manager over the phone about the incident, and during the recorded call, the teen expressed remorse for what he had done and, according to the arrest warrant, claimed “that he did what he did because the customer had called in the order right before closing time.”
During a phone call with a police officer, Symonds admitted that he probably would have given the pizza to the customer if he hadn’t been caught.
On September 12, ten days after the incident, Symonds was arrested and charged with tampering with a consumer product. He has reportedly already been fired from the Papa Murphy’s store. The teen was released from jail on $10,000 bail.
