Pennsylvania State Police Seek Amish Buggy Wanted For Hit And Run

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for an Amish buggy wanted in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Wilmington Township.

Troopers say the horse-drawn carriage hit a passenger vehicle, a Honda CRV, on Route 158 on Sunday around 6 p.m.

The buggy struck the left side of the vehicle twice and then left the scene.

No one was hurt in the collision.

The driver of the buggy has not been identified.

Another buggy incident caused a crash in Wisconsin this month. A driver on Highway 82 in Vernon County swerved to miss an oncoming buggy, rolling his vehicle. The vehicle turned over once before landing back on its wheels.

The victim, Rudy Lawton, suffered no injuries.
