Pennsylvania Man Fired After Going On Racist Rant (Video)

A man who was filmed harassing anti-fracking activists, using the N-word and making other racist comments on Dec. 27 in Mars, Pennsylvania, was reportedly fired by his employer on Dec. 29 (video below).

Photojournalist Tom Jefferson filmed the man mocking activists who oppose Rex Energy’s fracking operation in the Mars Area School District, notes

The man bragged about how he had a job, accused the activists of not being employed, said they were taking his tax dollars, but admitted he didn't know what they were protesting about.

At one point, the man turned to Jefferson, who is black, and referred to him as a "chimp."

When one of activists asked the man what he said, the man fired back, “Chimp. A f------ n----- right here with a mop on his head. I don’t give a f---. He’s milking my f------ tax dollars.”

Moments later, the man made monkey sounds at Jefferson.

As the video continued, the man tried to block Jefferson's camera, and said, "f------- lazy monkeys."

MMC Land Management wrote on its Facebook page on Dec. 29: “Today, we were disgusted to learn that one of MMC’s former employees used racial slurs and made racially charged comments during a peaceful protest in Mars, Pennsylvania, outside of work hours at a location with which we have no affiliation."

"We are sorry that this incident occurred. Whether at work or not, we do not condone hate speech - EVER. Inclusion and diversity are among MMC’s core values. We believe in equality for everyone, regardless of race, age, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. MMC has terminated this employee and will never do business with him again in the future." identified the man as John Pisone from a Facebook page and pictures that have since been removed.
