Paris Jackson said she is certain that her legendary father, pop singer Michael Jackson, was murdered, and that she knows exactly who was behind it.
"It's obvious," the 18-year-old told Rolling Stone during an interview released Jan. 24. "All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bulls***, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bulls***."
Paris said that Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael's personal doctor who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter after his death, was the reason that he developed a dependency on the drug propofol, the powerful anesthetic that ultimately killed him. But there was much more to the King of Pop's death than a negligent doctor, she said.
"He would drop hints about people being out to get him," Paris said of her father. "And at some point he was like, 'They're gonna kill me one day.'"
Others, including Michael's ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley, have recalled similar statements that he made.
"He felt that someone was going to try to kill him to get ahold of his catalog and his estate," Presley told Oprah Winfrey in 2010 following her ex-husband's death.
Presley said that he gave her names of "vampires" who sought to exploit him wanted to kill him for their own gain, but she said she "would like not to say them" publicly.
Like her father's ex-wife, Paris said that she knows of "a lot of people" looking to hurt her father, but she did not reveal any names to Rolling Stone. She said instead that she wants revenge and justice for his death when the time is right.
"I definitely do [want revenge or justice], but it's a chess game," the young model and actress explained. "And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that's all I can say about that right now."
