Amber and Michael Tilley, the parents of an unnamed eight-year-old boy, have filed a lawsuit against two school employees who work at Peaster Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas.
The parents claim that the employees, Julie West and Debbie Van Rite, forced the boy to strip and "began violently washing his body with a washcloth, scrubbing him over a large portion of his body, stuck cotton balls in his ears, all while ridiculing and harassing him about being 'dirty.'"
The parents previouisly filed a report with police, but no criminal charges were made over the November 2011 incident, reports the New York Post.
Amber Tilley said that her son has been in therapy as a result of the cleaning: "It's terrible and we don't want anything like that to happen to any other children. He just kept on and on wanting to take baths. He just felt so disgusting."
Amber Tilley denied that her son had bad hygiene and smelled, which is what the school allegedly accused him of.
