Randallstown High School students dressed in cap and gowns, and several parents, were caught on video fighting outside Towson University’s SECU Arena in Towson, Maryland, on Tuesday.
The video (below), captured on a cell phone and originally posted on WorldStarHipHop.com, shows total chaos as adults and teens are throwing punches moments after the proud graduates received their diplomas.
It is not clear what exactly started the melee, but the video shows several people, who were originally trying to break up the fight, becoming participants.
“Administration and Towson say that we couldn’t come back for graduation,” student Troya Thomas told CBS Baltimore. "They ruined everybody’s day with drama that should have been left at home.”
Two adults were arrested and charged by Towson University police, noted Fox Baltimore.
Dante Smith, 23, was charged with resisting arrest and second-degree assault, while Natanya Johnson, 33, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct.
“There are still a few weeks left in the school year and if we determine any current students were involved in [the] incident, they will face appropriate school disciplinary action,” school district spokesman Michael Dickerson said in a statement.
