Oregon Woman Was Allegedly Kidnapped, Raped And Drugged For 44 Days

A woman was reportedly kidnapped and held captive for 44 days in Salem, Oregon.

The unidentified victim said she was with Ronnie Lee Jr., 46, to pick up heroin when she was kidnapped, according to a police affidavit filed on Oct. 26. Lee then drove her to the home of Irish Boyce, 44, where they used heroin together. It was at that point Boyce attacked the victim with a closet rod, Statesman Journal reported.

The victim told police she was forced to sleep on the bathroom floor and injected with heroin if she tried to escape. She also claimed she was raped at least 20 times between Sept. 12 and Oct. 25.

Boyce later told police that Lee sodomized the victim and added that she participated in the woman’s alleged torture out of fear of retribution.

Boyce was arrested Oct. 26 and charged with first-degree kidnapping, two counts of second-degree assault, and six counts of first-degree unlawful penetration. She has no prior criminal history.

Lee was charged with first-degree kidnapping, six counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, five counts of first-degree rape, and five counts of first-degree sodomy, but he claims the sex was consensual and that Boyce and the victim are lying.

Police learned of the kidnapping when someone called for a welfare check, KPTV reported.

“This is an incredibly difficult time for our family and right now our concern is the health and well being of our daughter,” the victim’s family told KOIN. “We would like to thank the Salem police department for finding her and we are asking that our privacy be respected.”

Boyce and Lee remain in jail and are set to appear in court on Oct. 29.
