NYC Woman Eats Pizza, Walks Away After Pedestrian Is Hit By Car (Video)

A surveillance video (below) captured an unidentified woman witnessing a pedestrian, Victoria Nicodemus, getting hit by a car on Dec. 6 in New York City. Instead of rendering aid, however, the woman ate her pizza and walked away.

Other witnesses did rush to aid Nicodemus, who was pinned under the car, notes DNAInfo.

Nicodemus was pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital, but several other pedestrians, also hit by the car, are in stable condition.

Marlon Sewell, identified as the driver of the car, was arrested for allegedly driving without a license, the New York Daily News reports. He may have also been charged for not having insurance or proof of insurance.

Sewell. 39, was swerving to avoid hitting a bus that was stopped when he accidentally hit the people. He fell to the ground and wept at the scene of the accident, according to a witness.

Nicodemus’ boyfriend was walking with her but escaped the incident with minor injuries, Nicodemus’ family told the newspaper.

“She was the love of his life,” Peter Miller, Nicodemus' brother, said. “I think he’s still in shock.”

Miller added that Nicodemus was "an incredible young woman." She was 30 years old and an art curator.

“She was the light of our lives," he said. "Honestly one of the most beautiful souls."
