Walmart Removes All Lives Matter Bumper Sticker (Photo)

Walmart banned Domagron -- a family-owned business -- from selling "All Lives Matter" bumper stickers on the corporation's online marketplace.

Owner Dominick Agron says he was notified on Oct. 11 that the product had been removed because it violated the company’s “prohibited products” policy, Fox News reports.

When Agron asked Walmart how the sticker violated the policy, they initially responded that it was a system error.

"The item you’re asking about was incorrectly removed due to a system error earlier this week and was quickly re-published to our site, which you can see here," Walmart said.

Yet later that day, Agron receive another message from Walmart elaborating further.

“’All Lives Matter’ has been deemed an offensive term," read the message from Walmart. "These types of items are not appropriate for the Walmart Marketplace.”

Agron said he was upset by the move.

“Walmart should be ashamed of itself,” he said. “To advocate a view that not all lives matter is deplorable.”

He proceeded to write a letter informing Walmart he has terminated his business relationship with them.

“As a result of Walmart’s blatant discrimination and formal position that 'ALL' lives do not matter, we are terminating our relationship with Walmart effective immediately,” he wrote. “I am disappointed in your views, but we cannot transact with such a morally corrupt organization.”

While Walmart reinstated the bumper sticker, again reiterating it was "system error," Agron remains suspicious.

“Someone needed to code the algorithm in the system to consider the term ‘All Lives Matter' offensive,” he said. “A computer can’t do that on its own.”

The incident highlights the ongoing controversy over the phrase "All Lives Matter," which many Black Lives Matter activists find offensive and harmful.

"When people say 'All Lives Matter' in response to 'Black Lives Matter,' they are not simply opening their arms to the greater diversity of humanity," writes attorney David Bedrick for The Huffington Post. "Instead, they are taking race out of the conversation. While the statement masquerades as a bright and inclusive light, in the shadow of this statement hides a willful ignorance of America’s racist past and present."
