Nicholas Taverna and Cassidy Michalski Charged for Stealing $400 from Girl Scouts
Two men in Northampton, Mass. are being held on charges after they allegedly stole around $400 from a group of Girl Scouts. The Girl Scouts were selling cookies outside of a store in Massachussetts.
The men also punched the adult supervising the girls, giving the person a broken nose and arm injuries.
Nicholas Taverna, 22, and Cassidy Michalski, 25, are being held on $5,000 bail each for unarmed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and shoplifting.
After the two stole cellphones from a WalMart on Saturday, they tried to trade them for drugs.
The drug trade failed, so they went back to Northampton. They saw the 11- and 12-year-old girls selling cookies and stole their cash box.
