Neo-Nazi Heath Campbell Wants Child Services To Return His Kids Or He’ll Just Have More

A New Jersey neo-Nazi is demanding child welfare services return his baby girl, who was taken just two days after her birth, as well as his two-year-old son.

Heath Campbell, 40, says the child services took his baby girl, who was named for Adolf Hitler’s mistress Eva Braun, simply because he is a white supremacist.

“They kidnapped her,” said Campbell. “Because I’m not going to mix with the opposite races and I’m not going to let my children mix, that gives them the right to steal my child?”

“I’m not allowed to have children because I’m a Nazi,” he told the Daily News. “That’s what they’re saying. Well, I’ll stop making them when they stop taking them.”

Authorities say the children were taken away over safety concerns, not because Campbell is a white supremacist.

The out-of-work father-of-nine first made headlines in 2008, when he asked a supermarket to inscribe his son’s name, Adolf Hitler Campbell, on a birthday cake and the store refused.

Campbell had nine children with five different women, but doesn’t have custody of any of them.

His fiancée, 22-year-old Bethanie Zito, gave birth to Eva Lynn Patricia Braun on Nov. 11 in Pennsylvania while she was there visiting family. Just as she was preparing to leave the hospital, workers from the Franklin County, Pa., Children and Youth Service took the baby into custody.

“I’m sorry. Your daughter is not coming back,” Zito recalled one of them saying. “We’re taking her.”

“I started screaming. I got hysterical,” Zito said. “I had just been checked out. I was breast-feeding my daughter for two days straight. I changed her. I had clothes on her.”

“If there is an assumption the child is at risk, they can do that,” said lawyer Michael Connor.

Authorities say the baby girl was taken for same reason her two-year-old brother, Heinrich Hons, was taken. The New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services said Hons was taken because there was violence in the home.

At a custody hearing over Hons earlier this year Campbell appeared wearing a full Nazi uniform, with Zito at his side also wearing Nazi regalia. Their firstborn is still in state custody.

Three of Campbell’s other children – Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell – are in foster care because of alleged domestic violence.

The couple insist that child services took the children because of their names and deny any violence in their home.

A court hearing is scheduled for Monday in Northampton County, Pa.
