Man Calls Islamic Center In Florida, Threatens To Firebomb Them (Video)

The Islamic Center of St. Petersburg in Florida received a threatening voicemail on Nov. 14, one day after the terrorist attacks in Paris (video below).

"We are tired of your [expletive] and I [expletive] personally have a militia that is going to come down to your Islamic Society of Pinellas County and firebomb you and shoot whoever is there in the head," a male voice stated on the message, reports My News 13.

"I don’t care if they are [expletive] two-years-old or 100," the voice said. "I am over your [expletive] [expletive] and our whole country is."

The caller then encourages the center to find him and report him.

"Because I would love, love it," he added. "You’re going to [expletive] die.”

"Whenever we see international terrorist attacks, the American Muslim community really does feel the backlash almost immediately," Nezar Hamze, of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), told WFTS.

Police were patrolling the mosque following the threatening voicemail, and the FBI has launched an investigation into the threats.

A Muslim family in Orange County, Florida, also found a bullet hole in their garage door on Nov. 15 (video below).

"[My family feels] unsafe now," Amir Elmasri, the homeowner, told WFTV. "Why [is] somebody shooting at us? What did we do? We feel just as bad about what happened to Paris or any other terrorist act, about the victims, just as any other American. So, why would you single me out?"

According to Orange County Sheriff’s deputies, there were three bullets fired at the home. Deputies do not see it as a hate crime because there is no evidence that the bullets were fired because of religious bigotry, but Elmasri believes it happened because his family is Muslim.
