Mumbai Family Court Grants Divorce To Man After His Wife’s ‘Excessive And Insatiable Desire For Sex’

Apparently there is such a thing as divorcing your spouse over too much sex, at least that’s what happened in India.

A Mumbai family court recently granted one man a divorce because he could no longer deal with his wife’s “excessive and insatiable desire for sex.”

According to The Times of India, the man initially filed for divorce in January, saying that his wife of two years was “aggressive, stubborn and autocratic” and that she had been harassing him for sex since they got married.

The court was told that the wife forced medication on him to boost his sexual appetite and threatened to have sex with other men if her husband did not fulfill her lust.

The man also claimed that he was not in the mood after working three shifts, but his wife still insisted that they have sexual relations, according to the Daily Mail.

He was hospitalized in December 2012 for a stomach ache and his wife went to her sister’s home, the court was told.

The court in Mumbai eventually granted the divorce after the wife did not show up to court.
