A mother reportedly shot two men in Columbus, Ohio, after they opened fire on her and her 13-year-old son at a neighborhood store -- ultimately shooting the young teen in both feet.
The woman, who does not want her name released, says she knew one of the suspects and identified him as Kevin Hayden, reports WCHS. She claims Hayden and his friends have harassed her for years and even broke into her home.
The suspect is the sole reason why the mom says she recently obtained a conceal carry license. The gun she used in the incident was reportedly legal.
The woman allegedly fired back at both Hayden and another suspect as they fled the scene after wounding her son. Both suspects have since been arrested and Hayden is being held on $250,000 bond, while charges are still pending for the second male suspect.
The teenage victim is reportedly home from the hospital, but still recovering from his wounds.
