Milk Dud Boxes Filled With Bullets Found In Boy's Halloween Candy From Preschool

An Ohio mother was very surprised when she found boxes of Milk Duds filled with ammunition in her young son’s Halloween candy.

Chrissy Campbell of Peebles, Ohio, says her four-year-old son was going through his Halloween candy when he picked up a box of Milk Duds. As he opened up the box, he looked inside and asked his mother, “What’s this?” As she looked inside, she was confused and disturbed when she realized that it was filled with bullets.

“Those are live bullets in my child’s trick-or-treat bag,” said Campbell. Even more disturbing, Campbell says, is that the candy came from her son’s preschool.

“I just want answers,” said Campbell to WLWT. “I want to know why it was in my kid’s treat bag. I want to know who did it.”

As Campbell went through more boxes of Milk Duds, she was horrified to discover that every single one was filled with bullets.

“I opened up the second box; more bullets,” Campbell said. “I opened up the third box; more bullets. I opened up the fourth box; more bullets. I’m like, 'That’s not a coincidence, that’s not a mistake.'”

While nobody at the preschool has commented on the matter, the local police department’s chief says that they are taking it “very seriously.”
