The mother of 3-year-old Mikaeel Kular is expected to appear in court today on charges stemming from his murder.
Rosdeep Kular, 33, will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in Scotland today, at which time the charges against her will be made public.
The Daily Mail reports Kular’s profile on a dating website was filled with pictures of her children, including Mikaeel, who was reported missing last week.
Kumar claimed she put her son to bed on Thursday and when she got up in the morning he was gone, along with his coat, shoes and gloves. His body was found just before midnight on Friday behind his aunt’s house – 25 miles away from his own home in Edinburgh.
“I'm working hard to get what I want in this life and make something positive from it, for me and my kids' future,” the mother of five wrote on her profile.
“I'm a single mother of five beautiful monsters, so if you're not keen on kids I suggest you ‘move on,’” she wrote.
“I'm on here for a laugh more than anything,” it said. “If I meet someone then all good and well but I won't be losing any sleep over it.”
“I do have to say I like none of this new age, airy fairy men and wearing more make-up than me c**p,” she added.
She said she likes family, vodka and staying up late.
“During the course of today, the investigation into the disappearance of Mikaeel Kular has continued at pace,” said Police Scotland Assistant Chief Constable Malcolm Graham late on Saturday. “Following formal identification, I can now confirm that a 33-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with Mikaeel's death."
Residents in the Kular’s apartment building said last week that the little boy would not have been strong enough to open the main door to the building himself.
Police have not indicated how the boy ended up so far from his home.
