Police are searching for a mother in Tuscaloosa, Ala. after abandoning her newborn baby in hospital just hours after giving birth, reports the Daily Mail.
The woman was admitted to DCH Regional Medical Center at 3 a.m. on Tuesday after attempting to have the baby in her hotel room.
Both she and her baby tested positive for cocaine and opiates.
Eight hours after giving birth, the woman was caught on CCTV leaving the hospital without her baby. Authorities say she left with two unidentified black males.

The woman is described to have a large tattoo in the middle of her chest and was brought from a hotel in the 3500 Block of McFarland Boulevard.
The newborn boy is currently in the neo-natal intensive care unit at DCH. Sgt. Mike Chaisson said. No arrest has been made, but police are actively looking for leads to find the mother.
