Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has reportedly declared a State of Emergency in Ferguson.
According to the Associated Press, Nixon cited the “possibility of expanded unrest” in Ferguson as the reason behind the State of Emergency.
The Missouri National Guard has been activated and will be on hand to maintain order.
Although details regarding why the State of Emergency was declared are scarce at the moment, obviously all signs point to a final decision regarding the potential indictment of Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown coming down.
