Michelle Duggar Joins Smear Campaign Against Non-Discrimination Ordinance (Audio)

Michelle Duggar, the Christian conservative mom of 19 children and star of the TLC series “19 Kids and Counting,” has joined a smear campaign against a proposed non-discrimination ordinance in Fayetteville, Ark.

According to the Fayetteville Flyer, the proposed ordinance would allow landlords and employers "to be investigated and prosecuted for unjustly evicting or firing someone because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic background, marital status or veteran status."

However, Duggar takes the ordinance in a whole different direction in her new robocall (audio below) on behalf of the right wing Family Council. Duggar claims the ordinance would enable “child predators,” noted RightWingWatch.org.

"The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men, yes I said men, to use womens and girls restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only," claimed Duggar.

"I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls," added Duggar.

"I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space. We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child."

Michelle and her husband Jim Bob Duggar do not use birth control because they claimed in an 2011 interview (video below) that a doctor told them a birth control bill can cause a miscarriage.
