After being turned down for disaster food stamps, Mark Knight got a loaded AR-15 assault rifle from his pickup truck and was arrested, according to the Associated Press.
Louisiana State police say Knight became angry after being denied Hurricane Isaac aid in LaPlace, Louisiana, on Tuesday evening.
Officers providing security saw Knight go to his vehicle and get his gun. Soon, troopers, sheriff's deputies and national guard troops surrounded him.
State Trooper Melissa Matey told the Associated Press that officers also found a handgun and several loaded ammunition magazines.
Knight was booked on charges of terrorizing and aggravated assault, his bond was set at $20,000.
