An unidentified man in Phoenix is accused of vomiting on a dog and then shooting the dog's owner and his two children.
The dog owner was walking his dog at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday when the suspect, who was leaning over a second floor balcony, vomited on the dog.
After the two men argued, the dog owner tried to get into his apartment, but the suspect shot him several times at the front door to the apartment, notes AZFamily.com.
The dog owner's 14-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old boy were also wounded by gunfire. The dog owner is in critical condition, but the children are expected to recover.
Witnesses said the suspect appeared to be drunk and was seen running from the apartment complex after the shooting.
The suspect is a 6-foot-1 black male wearing dread locks, but his name has not been released.
Phoenix Officer James Holmes told WNEM-TV that the dog owner and suspect have had previous confrontations.
