Man with 'Vampire Teeth' Attacks Homeless Man

In La Jolla, California, a man described as having “vampire teeth” was arrested on Monday after police say he attacked a homeless man and threatened to kill him.

According to San Diego Police Capt. Brian Ahearn, police were called to a shopping center by a witness who saw the victim bleeding outside a CVS Pharmacy.

When police arrived they found the 55-year-old homeless man, whose name has not been released, bleeding with his left eye swollen shut.

The homeless man told officers that he was sleeping behind the shopping center next to Interstate 5, when he was beaten in the unprovoked attack.

The attacker reportedly kicked the homeless man repeatedly in the face, head and ribs while saying that he wanted to kill him.

Police officers found the unnamed suspect a short time later and arrested him on felony assault charges.

Police Capt. Ahear said the suspect appeared to be a transient.
