On the evening of Dec. 24, police officers were called to a barn in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after the man who owned the barn reportedly found 53-year-old Darryl Gene Scoggin having sex with a goat.
The man said he saw Scoggin with his pants down and holding the animal down while "obviously having sexual intercourse with the goat” on a surveillance camera, according to police reports obtained by KOKH. He then grabbed his firearm and held Scoggin at gunpoint.
Scoggin was arrested on a complaint of animal cruelty and police found a bottle of vodka in his jacket, which was inside the goat pen. The man who owns the livestock said this isn’t the first time his goats had been assaulted.
Animal cruelty is a felony charge in Oklahoma and is punishable by up to five years in prison or a fine up to $5,000, according to the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys.
