Former first daughter Malia Obama has reportedly been spotted partying all over Cambridge, Massachusetts, during her first semester at Harvard University.
Celebrity gossip website Radar Online reports the eldest daughter of former President Barack Obama has been sighted by multiple social media users as she parties and enjoys her freshman year of college.
"Damn, I saw Malia Obama in Cambridge, MA tonight," wrote one Twitter user in September, according to Radar Online. "She was beautiful, but drunk and cursing like any other college student."
Another user reported seeing "a very lit Malia Obama in Harvard square." A third user reportedly saw Malia Obama at a rest stop on the Massachusetts Turnpike with friends.
"Definitely just saw Malia Obama at a rest stop on the Pike wasted with her Harvard homies," the user wrote, according to Radar Online. "She's mad tall and def wasted."
The 19-year-old's college life recently became the subject of public fascination after she was recorded kissing British student Rory Farquharson at a Harvard football game and smoking a cigarette. It is unclear if the two are dating, according to the Inquisitr.
A wave of coverage drew criticism and calls for people to respect Malia Obama's privacy from her fellow first daughters, Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump.
"Malia Obama's private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait," tweeted Chelsea Clinton in November. "Be better."
"Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers," tweeted Ivanka Trump on the same day. "She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits."
Commenters on the Radar Online article seemed to share that sentiment, dismissing Malia Obama's antics as normal college student behavior.
"I do not care for [Barack] Obama and global government," wrote one anonymous commenter. "But my God, Radar, leave the kids alone! So tacky!"
"I doubt she's boozing her way through Harvard -- this college is far to intense, competitive & difficult for any student to party non-stop and still pass their classes," wrote another. "So what if she attends a few parties like a normal young adult. What college kid doesn't booze their way through their freshman year in college?"
"It is time to leave the children of the former President alone," wrote a third. "She is no different than any other college student (including me when I was young college student), so I hope she can have her privacy."
Another commenter blamed social media for the increased scrutiny Malia Obama has faced since graduating high school.
"Not at all unusual for a freshman," the commenter wrote. "Too bad she has to experience this under the microscope known as social media."
