Albright: Trump Would Fail My Foreign Policy Class

Donald Trump would fail an undergraduate-level foreign policy class according to former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who picked up where Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton left off with a series of attacks on the Republican nominee.

"@realDonaldTrump would flunk my class on decision-making in foreign policy," Albright tweeted, referencing an undergraduate seminar she teaches at George Washington University. "The commander-in-chief test is even tougher. No way he can pass."

Trump, Albright said, is "erratic" and says "crazy things."

"I have traveled abroad an awful lot, and our allies don't think we're weak," Albright said, according to CNN. "They don't understand what he is saying and why he changes his mind -- why he thinks that NATO doesn't work, why he thinks Saudi Arabia needs to have nuclear weapons, why he says the Japanese need to be nuclearized. Any number of things that absolutely don't make sense."

It's not the first time Albright has weighed in on the 2016 presidential race. In February, Albright's comments backfired and drew widespread condemnation when she seemed to shame young women into voting for Clinton instead of Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, who had enjoyed an uptick in support from young female voters.

“Just remember, there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other,” Albright said, according to TIME magazine.

Trump had yet to respond to Albright on June 3, but took the opportunity to attack his rival in a series of tweets the previous day. Clinton, Trump tweeted, gave a "bad performance...reading poorly from a teleprompter."

"Crooked Hillary no longer has credibility - too much failure in office," the businessman tweeted. "People will not allow another four years of incompetence!"
