The Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) in Bayou Corne, Louisiana recently shot some shocking video of a underwater sinkhole, sucking down trees, land and water.
The OEP posted the video (below) on its website on Wednesday, notes WBRZ.
Apparently OEP officials happened to be nearby when the sinkhole began draining a bayou in just seconds.
"The sinkhole continues to be active and grow," said OEP Director John Boudreaux, who added that local homes are not in danger, but residents are being updated.
An emergency route is being planned for Highway 70, which is near the sinkhole.
