Source Says Kanye West And Kim Kardashian May Divorce

Sources suggest Kim Kardashian may divorce Kanye West when she believes the time is right.

"She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he is getting the help he needs," a friend said, referring to Kanye's November breakdown, Us Weekly reports. "But she's felt trapped for a while."

However, a friend allegedly said that Kim, 36, will not pursue the divorce until Kanye, 39, has recovered.

“It will take some time before she can do anything,” the source said, adding that she is also quietly building up a full custody case for their children, 3-year-old North and 12-month-old Saint.

“But she doesn’t want to stay married," the source emphasized.

In the meantime, "she’s being a supportive wife," yet still allegedly "doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now."

However, reports indicate she does let Kanye around the children sometimes. He was reportedly present at a Dec. 5 family party.

Previous reports indicate the couple had been undergoing marital tensions since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

"It's just been hell for them," a source said, adding that the couple had begun to fight often.

"The trauma of the incident made her more hesitant to do things," the source continued, adding that Kanye's busy work schedule also created a divide.

“Of course it strained their relationship, because she hadn’t seen him."

However, back then, that source saw hope for the marriage.

“Kanye’s behavior took a huge toll on their marriage,” the source said. “But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”

Another source also sees a future for the couple, telling  E! News that accusations she planned to leave Kanye were false.

"Kim is doing okay despite reports," the source said. "She has many things on her plate so being overwhelmed is expected. She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him."

The couple's representatives have yet to make an official comment on the allegations.
