Drama has broken out in the Jenner family after reports surfaced that Kylie and Caitlyn have been fighting about what Kylie's baby will call its new grandparent.
The model and reality star is allegedly having trouble figuring out what her unborn child will call her transgender grandparent. A source close to the family detailed the dilemma to Radar Online.
"Kylie and Caitlyn don’t know what to do with this one. They know Kylie’s baby isn’t going to call Caitlyn grandpa, but they are not sure if grandma is appropriate either, since that is what Kris is going to want to use," the source said.
A temporary title for Caitlyn, the source claimed, was "Nana C," though no final decision has been made. Kylie and her sister Kendall still call her "dad" as per Caitlyn's request.
The source alleged that Kylie's mother, Kris, is upset about the fact that her daughter and ex have remained friends.
"Kris hates that fact that Kylie and Caitlyn are so close, but Kylie told her mom to just deal with it. They are both going to be grandparents to her baby and will both be a huge part of her baby’s life," the source said.
Another source told People that 20-year-old Kylie is prepared and excited to become a mother.
"Kylie is definitely ready for baby to arrive," the source said. "Coming up on the end of pregnancy, there are a lot of different emotions. She’s excited, she’s anxious … there are a lot of feelings, but she’s ready for what’s next."
The baby marks the first child for Kylie and rapper boyfriend Travis Scott. The pregnancy has been kept under wraps despite publicly confirmed and high-profile pregnancies for her sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Khloe recently confirmed her pregnancy while Kim recently welcomed another child with musician husband Kanye West via a surrogate.
Though it hasn't been confirmed, speculation has been mounting for months. Fans even noticed a recent Calvin Klein ad featuring all five sisters in which Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kourtney Kardashian show off their stomachs but Kylie remains completely covered up.
A source explained the reason behind the secrecy to Us Weekly.
"She’s very happy about the pregnancy but she doesn’t want to share this with the world," the source said. "Her not being out is strictly personal preference. She wants to keep this one aspect of her life private."
Multiple sources have confirmed that the reality star is expecting a baby girl.
