Kris Jenner Comments on Kanye West's Condition

The report from Nov. 21 of rapper Kanye West's hospitalization has provoked no shortage of news coverage.

Kris Jenner, West’s mother-in-law, commented briefly on his condition during a Nov. 21 appearance in New York, ET reports.

“I think he’s exhausted,” Jenner said when asked how West was. "Just really tired. It’s a grueling tour.”

She said West’s condition was “good” when asked by Vanity Fair.

Jenner was attending a fundraiser for cancer research, where her late-husband Robert Kardashian was commemorated.

The police were reportedly called to the house of West’s trainer, Harley Pasternak, after West was “acting erratically.”

Prior to being admitted to UCLA hospital, West announced the cancelation of the remaining 21 scheduled tour dates on his Saint Pablo Tour.

West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, did not attend the Nov. 21 fundraiser with her other family members. Reports speculated that she returned to Los Angeles after her husband’s admission to hospital.

“She’s [taking things] one step at a time,” Jenner said of Kim’s recovery following an armed robbery in October, ET reported.

Other celebrities have sent messages of support to West, who ended a show after just 30 minutes on Nov. 19 and delivered a series of on-stage rants during the past week. In one of them, West criticized Jay-Z, and in another he told his audience that if he would have voted in the election, then he would have supported President-elect Donald Trump.

“We were with Kim actually, you know, right before all of that,” John Legend told CNN, according to Time. “I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out.”

Many more posted their thoughts on social media.

“The easy thing to do is make Kanye West jokes," Andy Lassner tweeted on Nov. 21. "The compassionate thing to do is hope he’s ok and gets the help he needs."

“Been knowing the brother upwards of 13 years," 9th Wonder wrote in a Nov. 21 tweet. "Mental healing is a serious thing, no matter what. Stay strong Kanye West."
