Joseph Rivera Accused of Sexually Assaulting Women, Recording Himself

Joseph Rivera was arrested in Las Vegas this week for allegedly raping unconscious women and recording the assaults on video in Virginia.

According to police in Fairfax, Virginia, Rivera sexually assaulted numerous women without their knowledge for years.

Rivera has been charged with rape, aggravated sexual battery, sexual object penetration and unlawful filming, reports The Washington Post.

One of the female victim's families reported that she was sexually assaulted in May, which started the investigation.

Some the videos of the alleged rapes were filmed in a Lorton, Virginia home where Rivera lived.

Rivera reportedly confessed to police that he took photographs and recorded sexual assaults from November 2011 until December 2012.

Police have identified some of the women in the tapes, but many of the victims told the cops that they were unaware of the non-consensual sexual assaults by Rivera. Police suspect the women were drugged.

Rivera, who will be extradicted to Virginia, works as a party DJ and hosts bar-tending competitions where he supposedly meets women.
