20-year-old Joaquin Amador Serrapio, of Miami, Florida, was arrested for allegedly threatening President Barack Obama during his trip to the University of Miami last Thursday, police said.

Serrapio allegedly posted threatening statements on Facebook (below) using the name 'Jay Valor'  on February 21: 'Who wants to help me assassinate Obummer while hes at UM this week?'

On Thursday, Serrapio allegedly wrote: 'If anyones going to UM to see obama today, get ur phones out and record. Cause at any moment im gonna put a bullet through his head and u don't wanna miss that! Youtube!'

That same day, Secret Service agents went to Serrapio's home where they found a pellet rifle and a pellet handgun.

Serrapio was arrested for making threats against the president, a federal crime  that could carry up to five years in jail. Serrapio admitted posting the threats, according to court papers, but later plead "not guilty" to the charges.
