Texts Between Carrey And Late Ex-Girlfriend Released

Text messages have been released between actor Jim Carrey and his late ex-girlfriend Cathriona White, who committed suicide in September 2015.

Mark Burton, White’s estranged husband before she died, alleged that the messages prove Carrey gave White three STDs, the Mirror reported.

Burton has filed a suit against Carrey and also claims the actor provided White with pills prior to her fatal overdose.

“Jim Carrey’s public persona is a fraud,” Burton said, according to Page Six.

“In reality he is a guy who texts about his c–k in the same breath as deceased loved ones at Christmas,” Burton added.

Carrey strongly denies Burton’s allegations.

“Is this the way a ‘husband’ honors the memory of his ‘wife?’ The real disease here is greed, shameful greed!” Carrey said recently, according to the Mirror.

Carrey’s attorney rejected the allegation that the actor gave White STDs and alleges White married Burton for immigration purposes.

“The conduct of the parties confirms that the allegations will be proven false," said Marty Singer in a statement. "Significantly, the alleged text messages referred to were sent in 2013, yet in November of 2014, Ms. White sought out my client and asked him to continue a serious relationship."

“If he had engaged in the alleged horrible conduct, why would she reach out and request that they continue to stay together? In fact, they were even working out a cohabitation agreement, as they were living together for the most part up until her death,” he added.

The text messages revealed Carrey was concerned at one point that White was pregnant.

“You haven’t let your [pills lapse] at all since we were apart have you sweety?” Carrey wrote in one message, Page Six reported. “Sorry I just have a concern because it was a little carefree tonight. You can get a morning after pill if there’s any question.”

A letter from White to Carrey was also released.

“I am 27 years old and all that was left of me was a shell and a damaged one at that," White wrote. "Picking myself back up emotionally and mentally is one thing, people have bad experience and break-ups, it’s hard but with time they move on, meet someone new, start over. Add in disease. How does someone move on and meet someone new?"

Burton also alleges Carrey tried to make White sign a legal agreement and break off the relationship.
