Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife Sandi’s belongings will go up for auction Tuesday in order to pay for a portion of the $750,000 money judgment made against Jackson a few months ago.
The items for sale include several mink and cashmere capes, Bruce Lee memorabilia and a guitar signed by both Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen.
There are 13 items in all.
Many of the items are surprisingly inexpensive, like a mink cape that cost the couple $800 retail but is on the auction block for $115.
A Michael Jackson thriller poster is up for $300, and an autographed Bruce Lee photo from “Fist of Fury” starts at just $200.
Jackson was charged with one count of felony wire and mail fraud related to the misuse of campaign money. He will face 30 months in prison.
Sandi Jackson was charged with failing to report a portion of the couple’s income on their tax return and was sentenced to 12 months in jail. She was also ordered to pay $22,000 in restitution.
The items can be found at txauction.com under the U.S. Marshals Service.
Bidding will end on September 26th.
